Legal Administration provides legal and administrative support services to the Office of the President. The office ensures official processes follow applicable laws and established procedures and supports proper handling of legal and statutory matters within the Presidency.
The role is guided by the principle of the supremacy of the Constitution as provided under Article 3 of the Transitional Constitution of the Republic of South Sudan, 2011 (as amended), which requires all government actions to conform to the law.
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Provide legal administrative support to the Office of the President
- Review official documents for procedural compliance
- Support preparation of legal and administrative instruments
- Maintain legal records and documentation
- Coordinate routine legal matters related to presidential administration
